Kaylin must be one of the few 18 year olds that opted for a kiddies party opposed to a booze party.

One of "Die Plaas Werkers" immigrated to New Zealand at the end of last year (Craig). But he is never forgotten.

Out & About - The Big Red Barn - Family Brunch

Spent a lovely morning with all the cousins and their kids at the Big Red Barn for a quick brunch.
These are always precious moments.

DIY - Room renovation

Weekend of DIY. Decided the guest bedroom/study needed a new look. In fact decided to do away with the study altogether.
The intention was to revamp the room without spending any money. I went through all our old left over paints and found a perfect grey colour to compliment the already grey bedding.
All the furniture in the room was dark wood and with a lick of the grey paint and a old style sanding technique the furniture was transformed in a jiffy.
