What a blast
So you know you've had a good/rough evening when you wake up the next morning with your head shaved and a tattoo that was not there the night before.......In my case it was waking up with a white sash around my chest indicating that I was the organizer for the next (40th) reunion.
That's when the horror sets in. . . . . how on earth does one go about filling such big shoes? Bonita, Nohlene, Sandy you girls did one hell of a job. Thank you once again for all your efforts, hard work and dedication. From the daunting task of updating the contacts database, to the tiniest details of personalised welcome mints. You covered it all and you covered it to perfection.
It was a most enjoyable evening and it was so heart-warming and enriching to touch base with each and every one of you who attended. To those of you who were unable to attend, you were definitely missed.
I wish every one of you many blessings and good luck in all your future endeavours. Hopefully in 10 years’ time we can all come together like this again.
However a lot can change in 10 years. So I only have one request . . . . please keep in touch, stay connected on the Facebook Group. If you know of others that are on Facebook but not yet on the page, please invite them to join. If your contact details change, please pop me a message/email/sms/post on the FB page and let me know. That way I can ensure that we continue to maintain the good work the girls have already done with the contacts database, which will definitely make the organizing of the next reunion that much easier.
Go well, God bless and with God's grace I trust we will all see one another again in 2025.

Out & About - PVR Clean Up Walk
A big thank you to each and everyone who gave up their time on Saturday morning to join in the PVR Clean Up Walk along van Ryneveld Avenue. It was amazing to see so many of you join in. Last month we were only 6, this time we were close on 30. Women, men, children, dogs, old, young, thank you very much.
Also just want to thank the gentlemen that used their bakkies to transport some of the bags to the dump, much appreciated.
Then last but definitely not least, thank you to Frank Roos from Just Property Group for your contribution of refreshing cold water for all the hard workers.
Fank also donated R200 on behalf of Just Property Group as payment to Bernard (the guy with the blue truck on the corners of van Ryneveld and Hertsog/Mustang) to pick up the rest of the bags and take them to the dump. Thank you.
Next month we do this again, but this time w tackle the stretch from the circle at the end of PVR towards the Irene Mall. Keep an eye on the PVR community site for details. Here are just a few cellphone images taken while we walked (pardon the quality of the images).

What do you see first
So tonight a friend posted an article on Facebook, actually a test. A test to see how our interpretation of the world influences our characters.
The test was one where a couple of pictures are displayed one after the other. As soon as the picture displays you need to indicate what it was that you saw first. Something like this:

There were a couple of pictures displayed and after I completed the test the following was the result....and it is spot on!
The main things in life for you are your intuition, wisdom, joy, satisfaction and curiosity. The world for you is full of mystery, and is made up of so many different things, situations and people which are all constantly stimulating your imagination. Your life is painted in a multitude of beautiful colours, and you're always looking at it through the prism of creativity. You can turn anything that happens to you into something positive, and you never look for simple answers to life's questions.
You live your life in constant anticipation of experiencing something new and wonderful. However, at the moment you feel a lot of aggression inside. It's possible that recently you've been experiencing a lot of negative emotions and have the desire to finally resolve something that's been bugging you for long time. You need to calm down and relax. The time has come to do something new. You have the ability to draw a huge amount of strength from yourself, whilst at the same time remaining a tender and loving person.
